The Romans had a go at greenhouses. But their’s were carts filled with plants that were covered with oiled fabric. And AutoPot couldn’t do much for them. As we weren’t around back then.

In the 15th century the Koreans had a crack at greenhouses. Impressive stuff with climatic controls and all, but not available to the oi polloi. And AutoPot couldn’t do much for them. As we weren’t around back then.

The Brits, the Dutch (obviously!), and the Belgians knocked up some nice stuff in the Victorian era. But their’s were a bit showy and you couldn’t really pop one in your garden, not really. Plus, AutoPot couldn’t do much for them. As we weren’t around back then.

Don’t you feel incredibly lucky to be alive in an era where AutoPot ARE around and can help you with your non-wheeled, non-aristocratic, domestic-scale palaces of plants? Verily the stars have aligned – with greenhouses in their popular pomp and AutoPot on the rise. So, just how do we intend to improve these veggie villas, these fruity foundries, these bungalows of bloom?

Well, obviously with our automatic plant watering systems. But better still with a bit of knowledge as to how best the systems can fit within a greenhouse. Because ‘how many systems can I get in my space?’, is one of the most commonly asked questions that we get from prospective AutoPot growers.

We have previously tackled that question with our Shop By Floorspace feature. This is a very useful tool if you’re figuring out what you can get into a small, fully indoor area. Perhaps even an area where you could physically reach across to your furthest plant. An area where you simply fill the floor with systems – no walkway required. Or maybe an area where you could approach your plants from another side. But when you get into the Realm of Greenhouses there’s a bit more to consider.

Greenhouse floor plans, greenhouse-scale growing, and the variety of greenhouse crops all come into play when planning a system for such settings. That’s why we’ve launched a dedicated ‘Shop By Greenhouse’ category to provide you with properly designed options.

Using our experience of optimum spacing we’ve come up with a wide range of system packages to fit 8×6, 8×10, and 10x12ft greenhouses. We’ve crunched the numbers and devised highly productive, space-efficient offerings in configurations that ideally suit a greenhouse layout.

Packages such as 36Pot or easy2grow20 allow you to raise and sustain big, healthy, high-yielding crops in a way that gets the absolute most out of your greenhouse floorspace. For those who want to cover all stages of growth with a wider array of plants we also have packages that incorporate different product lines within the same system.

Take for example the Twin Tray2Grow with 12Pot and easy2grow 8. This combination is perhaps the ultimate in automated plant watering for your greenhouse. A complete setup for propagating and raising exquisite plants before transferring them to the right system for healthy, robust, fruitful development. You can master propagation, early-vegetative growth, full-vegetative growth, fruiting and flowering with multiple harvests throughout your season.

As well as fitting into a greenhouse perfectly, the packages represent excellent value. The fittings spec’d on each one are exactly what you need to achieve the right layout for your space, nothing more, nothing less. So you’re never paying over the odds to assemble the right configuration. With that in mind, a word on reservoirs.

Given the variables involved in greenhouse growing (quantity of plants, variety of plants, stage of plant development, climate, season, ability to top up a reservoir, etc, etc) we’ve decided to leave the choice of reservoir to growers themselves. We think there’s a fair chance that greenhouse growers will own a water butt already and even if they don’t, they’ll want to select their own. What we have done is supply minimum reservoir sizes for all packages to ensure your system can run continuously and smoothly.

The listings are live now! Clearly we’d love it if you snapped one up, but failing that we very much hope the packages act as a guide to ideal greenhouse configurations. That way you can layout for great results within your crystal cultivation castle every time.
