Who’s that lady with the mystic smile? An enigmatic, cheery, wonderfully popular presence who has arrived to adorn the walls of AutoPot HQ?

Well, if you think we’ve looted the Louvre for Leonardo’s masterpiece you can think again. Call off the gendarmerie – our heisting days are behind us. We’ve simply hired ourselves a new PA – who is vastly improving the art around our offices. And her name is Lisa. Not Mona Lisa. Lisa Stroud.

Above: P-Lisa’d to meet you, Lisa Stroud!

Aside from updating the decor in our hallowed corridors, Lisa has been straight into action Personally Assisting in many-a-manner of more momentous matters. Still, you’d hardly guess the weight of Lisa’s workload from her vibe.

Like Da Vinci’s muse, Lisa possesses a quiet, assured, friendly demeanour. A serene outward appearance that is also spookily familiar. It feels as though we’ve always known her. Her arrival has been seamless and calming. Safe to say, around the office Lisa is the Lisa of our worries (ahem!)

Artistic licence in more ways than one - ‘Lisa’ here adding a personal touch to our office decor
Above: A little artistic licence – This isn’t actually Lisa and this isn’t actually the art she’s been adding to the walls at HQ, but it illustrates the idea reasonably well – still, why the outfit? Read on!

Yes indeed, as with her Da Vinci-dabbled namesake, there is an inscrutable stillness about Lisa. And yet, if you looked ‘beyond the frame’ you’d see flailing lower limbs! Feet of flame! Toes of twinkle! Yes, perhaps like the Mona Lisa herself (!?), our new Personal Assistant is a garlanded Irish Dancer, schooled in the art of making her upper body look like it has absolutely no idea what her legs are up to. ‘What, these?’ Her torso seems to say. ‘Nothing to do with me to be sure, to be sure!’

Pistachio harmony - think Lisa won’t coordinate her outfit with her wrist rest? Think again.

Lisa (Stroud) got so good at ignoring her jigging gams that she ended up an All-Ireland champion dancer for three years on the trot. Lord knows what a toll 1,095 days of emerald-isle-traversing-non-stop-pin-wiggling took upon her. Nonetheless, she manages to be an incredibly energetic presence around the office (Lisa’s championship days were from 4-18 years of age, but even so).

Understandably after all that dancing, Lisa now drives. According to Rae Jones (AutoPot GM) Lisa’s is ‘a very nice car’. This insight is a little light on detail. So we shall have to pad with speculation that we’re not sure that Rae will ever be allowed into the car in question, given the way that Rae maintains the cabin of her own vehicle. Grungy.

Away from ill-advised slights on our superior’s valeting, we should also mention Lisa’s excellent contributions to our customer-relations. Together with Rhiannon (yes THAT Rhiannon!), Lisa has helped drive our new review platforms, both within and outside the company. She’s getting us on-task with those little, yet crucial, things that we keep putting off. And like all the best PA’s she does this without ever imposing. Just gently shepherding the team to where we need to be.
