FlexiGrow Covers help you control humidity when growing with fabric pots. Easy-to-use, 100% light-tight, and fully adjustable, they can be opened or closed as-and-when required in order to release or contain moisture.
You can keep the velcro-secured sides of the Covers rolled down when humidity is getting too high. When humidity is not an issue you can roll the sides of the Covers up (partially or fully).
For added adjustability the Covers feature a drawstring that can be opened or closed around the stem of your plant. This helps further control humidity and helps prevent pests from accessing the top of your grow media.
The worldwide-patented design also features a reflective outer material that helps to maximise growth and yield. It bounces incoming light back up onto the leaves, branches, and fruits – often into areas that your light source might not typically reach.
Why Do Fabric Pots Need Covering?
Growing with fabric pots is great when it comes to rapid, robust, fruitful development. They allow for oxygen exchange between the root zone and the outside world, supercharging growth. When roots hit the porous pot sides they are also ‘air-pruned’, splitting into a vast number of small feeder roots that are excellent for drawing up water and nutrients. There is a downside to all of this though.
The porous pot sides do contribute to higher levels of room humidity. You can counter this with a dehumidifier, but that comes at a cost. You’ve got to buy the appliance, deal with drainage, and pay for utilities. There’s also the noise. FlexiGrow Covers provide a complete, efficient, and relatively inexpensive solution to all of these issues.
