The AutoPot Reservoir Heat Shield is a slip-on jacket especially designed for our 47L reservoir and suitable for the 30L reservoir. Featuring a durable, metallic coating it reflects heat away from your water storage. By doing this it helps to keep water temperatures stable – an essential factor in healthy growth and fruitful harvests.
Ideally you should aim for a reservoir water temperature of 18-21°C.

I have only recently received the “Heat Shield for 47L Reservoir” Tank. The Heat Shield fitted perfectly over the tank and is easily removable to refill when required. I am hoping that this cover or shield will slow down the amount of water/feed that has been used in only a few days during this very hot weather. The usage must be mostly used by the cucumber and tomato plants rather than to evaporation, as the tank has a tight lid, and the AutoPot bases are quite tightly covered above the valves.
Only time will tell – hence only 4 stars at this time.
