Description

If you have purchased or are using your own large tank and do not have access to insert a 16mm water barrel tap you can use a 16mm Top Hat Grommet. A 19mm hole is drilled at the bottom of the tank and the 16mm Top Hat Grommet is inserted into the hole. 16mm pipe (hosepipe) is then pushed into the grommet. This will form a water tight connection.

16mm Top Hat Grommets are the ideal way to create a water tight seal on an un-drilled reservoir.

Simply drill a 19mm hole at the bottom of the container you intend to use as a reservoir.

Insert the 16mm Top Hat Grommet into the resulting hole.

Then pass your 16mm pipe (hosepipe) in through the grommet. This will form a water tight connection.

Ideally a 16mm inline tap and 16mm inline filter should be inserted into the pipework outside your reservoir.
