Who’s up for rooting around at the back of a high shelving unit to get a look at a bit of kit? Craning and straining to see if the thing you’re after fits the bill? Store owners – do you like it when your customers can’t see the key selling points of your valuable stock? Thought not. Yet such are the conditions in which many a product is stored in garden centres and specialist horticultural outlets.
And it’s understandable. Times are hard for brick-and-mortar shops and warehouse-style racking is a cheap, sturdy way to get stock onto some kind of shelving. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

We’ve begun developing a series of compact Free Standing Display Units (FSDUs) that allow stores to show off our boxed systems in all their glory. Aside from actually being able to see the systems the FSDUs bring uses, unique features, and quick user guides right up front and centre – helping to inspire and inform in equal measure. All good things, but will you have the floorspace?

Well, given that the units measure a little over a metre wide and just under half a metre deep we’d wager you will have room for one. And whilst they are compact enough for most stores the units also offer excellent capacity.
We’re currently exploring two types of unit. A three tier suitable for our forthcoming Khloris systems, and a two tier designed for Tray2Grow. Either could easily be used to house smaller systems such as AQUAbox or easy2GO and our boxed extension kits. Currently our prototype Three tier will hold up to 18 system boxes with the two tier good for 8 boxed Tray2Grows.
Look out for further announcements on these handy units over the coming months.
