Its either the pepper mill or else he\u2019s used the internet. Cliff\u2019s three immaculately turned-out greenhouses are separately sponsored by Dutchpro, CANNA and BioTabs. In these conditions more than ever it\u2019s about \u2018the little things\u2019 and Cliff attributes much of his success to attention to detail. His Grower\u2019s Diary here contains a great deal on the intricacies of chilli cultivation in the UK and some really good insights on growth phases, nutrient uptake and staying on top of pH shifts.<\/p>\n<p>The bulk of Cliff\u2019s crop is currently comprised of Carolina Reapers the very same chillies certified by Guinness as the world\u2019s hottest. Not only do Cliff\u2019s chillies enjoy the limelight as the show pieces of his greenhouses, they enjoy a double life, just like The Caped Crusader or a Twix. Once harvested the chillies form a key part of Devon Chilli Man\u2019s special sauces and seasonings. These include the doubtlessly light-hearted \u2018Death at The Crimson Altar\u2019, the monarch bamboozling \u2018King Reaper Pickle\u2019, the Korma Werewolf slaying silver bullet aka \u2018Keyring Capsule\u2019, and the theologically divisive \u2018The Preacher\u2019 and \u2018Gospel Preacher\u2019.
