Dan Tan Ten!

This month sees yet more momentous stitching added to the rich tapestry of AutoPot workforce folklore. Yep, we’ve got our sacred textile chronicle back down off the wall (having only just put it back up after last month). We’ve sat Jason ‘Jabba’ Hurst our Head Seamster down with a needle and thread and had him embroider this latest portentous chapter. 

But what is this episode extraordinaire? And why should it matter to you? Well, if you’ve been patient enough to wait this long you can hang on until the next paragraph to find out.

Dan Tan Ten! There, we couldn’t hold it any longer! Our brace of Dozzini’s (Dan and Tan) have both reached the milestone of ten years service with AutoPot. These two are integral to our work and how we’re able to serve our customers, our go-to problem solvers, well worthy of a deep-dive!

Writ large as his legend is, young Daniel Dozzini (that’ll be £20 as agreed thanks Dan) continues to amaze with his peerless work representing AutoPot to our stockists. Yes, we are bound to say it, yes, there are other reps we respect, yes, Dan has an unfair advantage by dint of the fact that he can simply talk more than anybody else, but we’re immensely proud to have the very best on the road working for us.

We couldn’t want for someone with more character, know-how, and presence than Dan. Though no glamourpuss, he is a very visible face of AutoPot, purring around the Southern stores and dragging in the delicious morsels from which we craft our shop reports. Popular, ebullient, and highly successful, he’s our UK South Account Manager! Whilst lesser spotted, Tan Dozzini (Dan’s wife) has played an equally important role in the sensational progress we’ve made as a company over the past decade. 

Quite the Quartermaster, it’s Tan’s job to ensure that AutoPot stockists, reps, and customers are issued with/armed to the teeth with our products. When it comes to AutoPot she’s packing! In all seriousness, as Stock Room Controller, Tan does a superb job of putting your orders together perfectly. She helms a brilliant, dedicated team in the Stock Room who are constantly improving the way we do things and who, unfailingly, bring happiness and a sense of family to our workplace – no small feat as we’re sure you’ll agree. Tan and her section really do deserve huge credit for making AutoPot such a productive and positive place in which to work. 

As a pair, our power-free (that’s AutoPot baby!) ‘power couple’ truly are a match made in heaven; he a keen cannelloni consumer, she a complete cannelloni crackerjack. He a lively, friendly presence on the road and around the office, she a strong and energising character, very much an espresso martini in human form. Whether at the wheel or the peel-and-seal, building relations or packing sensations, filling a box or swearing like a Boat Race cox (that’s you Dan), Dan and Tan are veritable Wizards of Doz’! Here’s to them!
