It’s bon voyage to Dave Gulliver! On an intrepid journey to see all plants properly nourished, and quite possibly looking to commission and acquire more branded caps, our erstwhile International Sales Manager has scampered aboard the good ship Mills UK.
Throughout his time with us Dave has truly worn AutoPot on his sleeve or indeed anywhere else he could get it embroidered. Nay, say what you will but Dave has been so much more than a botherer of personalised corporate-wear providers during his tenure here. He’s done a tremendous job of energising our international relations by engaging growers and businesses around the world and turning them on to our systems.
A warm, engaging, worldly-wise chapeau on legs, Dave’s often treated with justified reverence on the hydro show circuit and has constantly been one of those ‘most-asked-for guys’ when customers come to call. We just know he’s going to bring something very special to Mills. Plus the donkey population around their Blackpool base will give him ample opportunity to develop his quasi-messianic presence. A man-of-the-people with a simple message who we also believe has some experience of carpentry? Find him during lunchtimes trotting along the sandy foreshore.
Horticulture being the shared joy that it is we know it’ll never be long between catch-ups (this article notwithstanding) but we’ll sure miss you Dave. Questions abound. What WILL we in the AutoPot marketing department fill our time with fifteen minutes before a consignment of show materials is due to depart? Thoughts of the good times no doubt. For now we bid you adieu and wish you all the very best as nutrition becomes your new position. You, dear reader, can follow Dave’s onward and upward journey @dave_mills_nutrients.
Dave you knave, our hearts you did enslave,
And now the path to Mills you pave,
The ‘Pot people miss your head that you shave,
And the reviews of your work, consistently rave,
We hope in happiness you bathe,
Whilst we are crying in a cave,
See ya!
