Whilst our pot and tray modules allow you to do all of the above they’re designed to do so on a plant-by-plant basis. Tray2Grow has been conceived to produce cornucopias, vast and varied arrays of plants all on one capacious yet space-efficient, AQUAvalve-irrigated tray.

At least five different applications are possible using Tray2Grow. Seed trays, small pots, grow bags, micro herbs, coco slabs, and planters, can each be accommodated, making this the most versatile product in the AutoPot range and one of the most versatile irrigation systems period. The system feeds and waters this wide range of containers via two easily switched configurations.

In grow bag / coco slab configuration capillary spikes are fitted to the inside of the Tray2Grow. These spikes pierce the underside of a grow bag or slab and draw water and nutrient solution up from the tray to irrigate the substrate within. With the spikes removed and capillary matting in place, Tray2Grow can take up to four standard-sized seed trays, two micro herb trays, any number of bottom-perforated or bio pots, or our voluminous 107.5 L / 23.5 gal framed fabric planter. Both the capillary spikes and the capillary matting are included meaning you’re equipped for every eventuality. Three guide holes on each side of the tray are provided for garden canes if you’re trellising plants and there are three inset spirit levels to help you ensure everything is 100% horizontal.

When we say, ‘grow anywhere’ we really do mean it. As with XXL the Tray2Grow features an overflow plug which allows growers to enjoy the system indoors or outdoors. If you’re growing outdoors you simply remove the overflow plug, allowing any excess water that may accumulate during rainfall to escape. If you’re growing indoors you just leave the overflow plug in place.

If you garden for business as well as pleasure the Tray2Grow’s capacity and adjustability are compelling arguments for adoption. At 1115mm / 44” x 410mm / 16.2” Tray2Grow will comfortably fit onto a Danish trolley or indeed any other form of racking or rolling bench. A single AQUAvalve controlling all feeding and irrigation to each tray radically reduces maintenance compared to servicing independent modules and, as there’s no waste or recirculation, minimal plumbing is required. Need we add that you get this functionality plus proven high yields without the need for electricity, pumps, timers or running water?
