AutoPot in Canada – with GreenPlanet

They’ve skated it, they’ve skied it, they’ve watched it fall off a cliff, but it’s a little known fact that until recently Canadians had no real practical use for water – can you believe that?! Mercifully AutoPot have been in-country for the last few years showing people – not in a colonial-way, in a nice way – what can be achieved with our watering systems. Affectionate poppycock? Maybe a little bit, but only because we love those guys.

In all seriousness, it’s fair to say Canada ranks as one of our absolute favourite destinations in terms of today’s growing. It has established growers whose abilities are second-to-none. The stores and staff on hand to assist with growers needs are enviably modern and open. The trade is ready to serve a general public who hold a very enlightened attitude towards getting involved. We’ve said it before and we’ll undoubtedly say it again, those guys are alright, so what’s new over there?

As a country at the cutting edge of cultivation it comes as no surprise that Canada is home to growers using the latest and most varied range of nutrients. This obviously affects watering systems. A great many growers feed fertilisers in solution through their reservoirs and pipework to modules and the pots therein. In order to keep up with contemporary trends in nutrient use we’ve made a few changes to our own systems and Canada is now reaping the rewards.

Canadian AutoPot growers are, by now, well on the way to getting plugged into AQUAvalve5. With its big bore 5mm inlet and 9mm pipe and fittings the new valve, released last year, facilitates a faster flow for a quicker fill, blowing away the potential for blockages by dint of its sheer gush.
