If AutoPots were mountains then Switzerland would be full of them. Happily, AutoPots are watering systems and Switzerland is still full of them. With that logic in mind Dave Gulliver set out to lap up the marketplace in “The Land of Milk and Honey”. In recent years the Swiss horticultural marketplace has seen significant growth in its demand for watering systems. Part of this is as a result of commercial growers responding to refinement of the legal system in relation to CBD production.
The consequent, legal demand in the market now sees CBD flower stocked in most if not all tobacconists as an alternative to tobacco itself. It is important to be clear that regional variations apply across Switzerland’s federation of cantons and that THC levels are legally restricted. However, the Swiss’ maximum legal content of 0.1% THC is a relatively generous threshold in comparison to other nations across Europe which allows producers more room to manoeuvre. Like most countries Switzerland’s situation in terms of CBD is quite particular but it is available within legal bounds.
Deemed a legal product and with a strong market demand CBD production has understandably rocketed. As with any product the producer seeks the most efficient and highest yielding means of quality production. By meeting these criteria AutoPot watering systems have enjoyed a jolly strong showing in Switzerland. The systems satisfy economic and environmental requirements alike in that they waste no water and require no electricity. The scale of the workforce required is minimised by the fact that no timers or computers are necessary for the irrigation system.
Though aware of the scale of the Swiss marketplace Dave’s little peepers could scarcely believe their eyes at some of the stops on his tour. The development of an infrastructure to support this thriving industry can only be described as “absolutely Swiss”. Over the course of a week Dave visited bijou little mountainside shops and bustling city centre emporia. Tucked up in the mountains near the Italian border CironiShop scored highly not only for scenery but their excellent promotion of AutoPots. Like all our true lovers Eric the proprietor is keen to experiment and is forging a technique to use Biobizz with AutoPot – Dave’s had a peek and is very much of the opinion that you should stay tuned for developments there. All the stars were in alignment at Project Save Switzerland whose fusion of of Project Save/Geneticaseeds and Resin CBD Spain is utilising AutoPot, Biobizz and OCL Lighting to great effect. Dave then tarried awhile absorbing in awe the facilities of an actual Swiss CBD grow using easy2grow and OCL. Last stop on the Davy Train (he was actually in a van) was the CannaTrade show in Zurich. The oldest show of its kind in Europe, CannaTrade is heavily orientated toward the medical, cultural and economical outlets for hemp cultivation. Great friends Huboma AutoPot Switzerland and OCL ushered us onto their stand, into their tent and had us unpack and share a delicious slice of AutoPot produce. FlexiTank Pro, SmartPot, easy2grow, XL and the new Auto9 XL all present and correct! Amidst all the pageantry Dave found fellow Swiss distributor Sow and Grow who “had AutoPot love aplenty going on as well”, and for that we are immensely grateful. Our hearty thanks to all the guys who received Dave with such a toasty warm welcome.
