When root tips reach the porous side of a FlexiPot they are \u2018air-pruned\u2019 \u2013 deterred from extending any further by the air outside.\u00a0Secondary roots then develop, creating a root structure with vastly improved moisture and nutrient uptake.<\/p>\n
